About Me…





Jaime Vandergrift is an experienced educator, presenter, and conference planner. Her passion lies in instructional technology, innovation, and finding the answers to the questions educators have about moving forward in classrooms today. She believes in the power of being a connected educator and working with others who share the same ideals in education for the overall betterment in the future of education. Jaime is passionate about Google Apps for Education and utilizing her passion for finding ways to support depth of knowledge through utilizing digital resources. She served as the Instructional Technology Specialist at Sara Harp Minter Elementary in Fayette County, Georgia for 3 years before moving back into the classroom to teach 3rd grade. Jaime is social media co-chair for GaETC with @CatFlippen, Region 6 Social Responsibility Leader for Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, and Co-Founder of LeadLiftEDU in Atlanta. Jaime earned her EdS degree from the University of West Georgia in Media and Instructional Technology Spring of 2015. Jaime holds Certification in Instructional Technology, and is a Common Sense Media & NEWSELA Certified Educator and Teacher Trainer, a Google Level 1 Certified Educator, and a Classflow Ambassador.
